Description

The K8 is a large-format channel letter 3D printer built for sign makers. It prints illuminated letters, logos and shop signs directly from a file, with an 800 × 800 × 85 mm print area, a dual-gear extruder and automatic colour change, so a job that takes about a day with the traditional cut, polish and paint process (the manufacturer quotes over 25 hours) is ready in a few hours.

How a sign is made

1. Prepare the file: import the font or logo into the Soleyin slicing software and choose the letter height and edge style.
2. Print: the K8 prints the letter shells in the selected colours.
3. Fit the lighting: install the LED modules and the back plate.
4. Mount: the finished letters are ready to install on the wall or on a rail.
